Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring a Senior Structural Analyst to lead advanced structural analyses for the New Glenn second stage. You will develop and validate analytical models, perform FEM and hand calculations, and guide junior analysts to ensure safe, weight-optimized designs.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams, document analyses, and communicate results to multi-disciplinary groups, supporting qualification and operations across launch vehicle structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience performing structural analysis.
• Strong understanding of material properties, failure mechanisms, and structural dynamics.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct advanced structural analyses for aerospace components and systems.
• Provide technical leadership to junior analysts/engineers and mentor team members.
• Develop and validate analytical models to simulate structural performance under various conditions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure accurate results and compliance with specifications.
