Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned structural analyst for New Glenn support in Florida. You will perform detailed hand calculations and FEM analyses of primary and secondary aerospace structures, document stress analyses, and guide junior analysts. You’ll develop automation tools and provide design guidance to engineers across the team.

The role requires strong experience in classical and aerospace methods, materials knowledge, and communication skills to enable safe, repeatable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (or higher).
• 8+ years in aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle structures.
• Experience with hand calculations, FEM, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand calculations and FEM analyses of primary and secondary aerospace structures.
• Document stress analysis to support release of engineering drawings and documentation.
• Guide junior analysts and provide design guidance on metallic/composite structures.
• Develop and review analysis results, and create automation tools for model creation and reporting.
• Collaborate across teams for production support and configuration development.
