Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Denver is seeking a Strength Analyst to perform structural, fatigue and fracture analysis for propulsion and upper‑stage components. You will create models, review layouts, document results, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in engineering, 4+ years of related experience, and familiarity with NASGRO, ABAQUS, and NX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with NASGRO and ABAQUS.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of materials and fatigue/fracture analysis.
• Cross-functional team experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Vulcan Development activities including Centaur V on SLS in support of Artemis.
• Perform strength, fatigue and fracture analysis of structural components.
• Create analysis models, perform hand calculations and provide design recommendations.
• Review 3‑D layouts, models, drawings and changes for propulsion and mechanical systems.
• Document analysis results in strength reports.
• Support internal peer reviews and design reviews as needed.
• Coordinate across functional and product teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Assist in developing team processes and capabilities.
