Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Strength Analyst to perform strength, fatigue and fracture analyses of propulsion and mechanical components. You will build analysis models, perform hand calculations, review 3-D layouts, and provide strength inputs for new designs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 4 years of related experience, and familiarity with NASGRO, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, FEMAP, NX, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Ability to make design recommendations based on analysis results/experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Vulcan Development activities and related programs.
• Perform strength, fatigue and fracture analysis of structural components.
• Create analysis models and hand calculations and review 3-D layouts and drawings.
• Document analysis results in strength reports and participate in design reviews.
