Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Commerce, CA is seeking a Manager, Production Planning & Scheduling to lead the Production Planning, Inventory Control and Master Scheduling teams.

You will manage manufacturing work instructions, material planning, and shop-floor handoffs to ensure on-time deliveries for complex aerospace programs. The role requires 5+ years in aerospace supply chain and 3+ years in a leadership role with strong communication and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aerospace supply chain or related field with production planning, master scheduling, property administration, scheduling, inventory, shipping/receiving/logistics and procurement.
• 3+ years in a leadership position with strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and decision making skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Supply Chain/Business/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Planning, Inventory Control and Master Scheduling for the Commerce facility.
• Balance shop floor execution with program schedules and customer deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement and daily management processes (Daily Start-Ups, DMR, Gemba).
