Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Production Planner and Scheduler (or Principal Production Planner and Scheduler) to coordinate master production schedules, material requirements, and shop load for the Armament Systems unit.

The role requires 6–9 years of relevant experience, MS Office proficiency, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Travel up to 10% is expected. Competitive compensation with potential overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 6 years for Production Planner; 9 years for Principal Production Planner.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain security clearance if required.
• Will consider various combinations of degree and experience as stated in Basic Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules.
• Advise management on work in progress, material availability, and production problems.
• Schedule equipment and personnel; prepare work orders based on master schedule and inventory needs.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
