Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Planner & Scheduler for the Deployables Operating unit in Oxnard, CA. The role is 100% on-site and supports advanced planning tasks, containment, and cross-functional leadership to align material flow with program schedules.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3) in production control, with strong ERP/MRP and MS Office skills.US citizenship is required for certain positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a production control and manufacturing environment is required.
• 2+ years for Level 2 or 5+ years for Level 3 of relevant experience with MRP/ERP.
• Strong analytical, technical, strategic and problem-solving skills under tight timelines.
• Proficiency with Bill of Materials management and sequence scheduling.
• Experience with data analysis, root-cause identification and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead containment activities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Track material shortages and manage work orders based on BOMs and ECOs.
• Analyze capacity, schedule and MRP to ensure on-time ship schedules.
• Prepare purchase requests and align shop load with production plans.
• Communicate critical part shortages to program management.
