Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Company Operations Manager / Senior Manager to shape how we plan, decide, and execute across the business. You will own the operating rhythm, run planning cycles, and build cross-functional cadence with international scope.

You will design tools to provide a single source of truth, codify decision rights, and remove friction to move faster. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Ops is essential to improve the buyer and seller experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5–7+ years experience in consulting, investment banking/private equity, or a fast-growing startup.
• Experience designing and running operating processes across teams and making them stick.
• Ability to move fast with limited structure and guidance.
• Curious about different parts of the business and levers to grow.
• Independent, deep work on ambiguous projects.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and drive change.
• Fluency in using AI tools to enhance problem-solving, analysis, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Own core pieces of how Whatnot plans and executes — company planning, OKR cycles, and business reviews.
• Build tooling to track progress, highlight metrics, allocate resources, and remove blockers.
• Map decision rights across functions and countries, and stand up review forums.
• Identify frictions and streamline processes, rolling out AI-powered tooling.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to deliver the best buyer/seller experience and resolve high-impact issues end-to-end.
