Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Manager in Memphis, TN. You will manage a large, multi-site operation, balancing strategy with execution while leading salaried and hourly teams.

The role focuses on budget ownership, staffing, and continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, and customer-experience goals. The position oversees development of leaders, partner networks, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Safety, IT, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 7+ years of Direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for functional area including safety, productivity, and labor planning.
• Leads long-term planning (3, 6, 12 months) including labor rate forecasting and peak season planning.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and productivity.
• Networks with leaders to share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Mentors and develops leaders and staff; participates in recruiting for promotions and hires.
