Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced contracts negotiator to lead negotiations of complex cloud services agreements with our sophisticated customers.

This hybrid legal and business role develops internal strategy, crafts proposals to address unique customer requirements, drafts bespoke contractual provisions, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to drive open issues to resolution, and serves as the face of AWS Legal in customer negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of multi-million dollar contract negotiation experience.
• 8+ years drafting and negotiating the legal terms in a broad range of standard commercial contracts.
• Ability to quickly read and interpret legal terminology and reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations of complex cloud services agreements with major customers.
• Develop internal strategy and craft proposals to address unique customer requirements.
• Draft bespoke contractual provisions and drive open issues to resolution.
