Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced contracts negotiator to lead negotiations of complex cloud services agreements with our most sophisticated customers. This hybrid role combines legal and business perspectives to drive key deals and provide a face of AWS Legal in negotiations.

The candidate will craft proposals, draft bespoke provisions, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-million dollar contract negotiation experience.
• 5+ years of drafting and negotiating the legal terms in a broad range of standard commercial contracts.
• Experience with complex commercial/legal concepts and drafting, ability to read and interpret legal terminology.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations of complex cloud services agreements with key customers.
• Develop internal strategy and craft proposals to address unique customer requirements.
• Draft bespoke contractual provisions and drive issues to resolution with cross-functional leaders.
