RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support the Southern Regional Development team by delivering market, customer, and policy insights and by leading strategic initiatives across utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects in ERCOT, SPP South, MISO South, and SERC (GA).

The role includes pricing, competitive analysis, market development, and M&A activity, working with Development, Commercial Analysis, M&A, Power Marketing, and Interconnection teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in renewable energy infrastructure, ERCOT/SPP/MISO experience preferred.
• Strong communication with executive leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal analysis and develop materials for strategic decisions and investment approvals.
• Identify trends and risks across target markets and create action plans.
• Build strategic rationale to support internal approvals and gating decisions.
• Drive origination and M&A development due diligence.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor progress and OKRs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align market assumptions.
• Forecast regional approvals and obligations to leadership.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities with QA/QC of inputs.
• Implement strategic tools and best practices across development.
