Job summary

FreedomPay seeks a Strategic Account Executive, Retail to manage a portfolio of enterprise Retail customers, guiding growth, adoption, and long-term success. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Operations to deliver outcomes.

You will build executive relationships, drive cross-sell opportunities, and participate in QBRs, traveling 30-40% as needed. A strong background in payments or commerce tech is valued.

Qualifications

• This role requires 10+ years in a customer-facing role (Strategic/Account Management or similar).
• Minimum 5 years supporting the Retail industry.
• Experience managing enterprise brands or working in payments/commerce tech is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or higher is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic relationships for a portfolio of enterprise Retail customers with growth and health ownership.
• Partner with Customer Success to align goals, delivery, adoption, and engagement strategy.
• Serve as trusted advisor to customer executives across operations, IT, payments, and digital teams.
• Lead executive reviews focused on outcomes, adoption, and expansion opportunities.
• Identify and drive cross-sell and global expansion within Retail accounts.
• Build strategic account plans aligned to customer priorities and growth strategy.
