Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully perform project management tasks across planning, design, and construction phases.
• Proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling principles, methods, and software.
• Experienced in managing consultant contracts and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills to guide internal staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the public and city officials.
• Proficient in interpreting complex technical reports and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and provide high level technical support to Project Managers for storm drainage projects.
• Independently manage engineering consultants from planning through construction administration.
• Perform contract management activities including schedules, invoices, and amendments.
• Oversee preparation of planning studies and design exhibits, including sealing final products.
• Collaborate with related divisions to resolve constructability issues during construction.
• Serve as a point of contact for stormwater issues within the division and city.
