Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Service Manager in California to lead store operations, coach Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, and ensure exceptional customer service and professionalism.

The role emphasizes role modelling core values, team development, and strong store performance. You will oversee scheduling, receiving processes, and overall store execution while partnering with district and regional teams to drive results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a large retail organization.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards.
• Provide guidance to the Customer Service Supervisors to ensure smooth customer flow at registers.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the receiving process and partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and set leadership example for customers and associates.
• Support the Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in management of other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
