Job summary

JPJ Staffing in Milton, PA is seeking a Commercial Steel Project Manager/Sales Estimator to drive sales strategies, estimate design/build projects, and manage projects from bid through finish, ensuring profitable outcomes.

You will coordinate with presidents, superintendents, and vendors, develop takeoffs, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain safety and quality standards on site across all assigned jobs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in a business, engineering, or marketing discipline desirable; four years PM experience may substitute for college.
• Minimum 10 years in construction with at least 7 years in the field; at least 3 years PM and 3 years estimating in building industry.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs; write reports and proposals; present information to managers, customers and vendors.
• Strong negotiation and people-management capabilities; adept at budgeting, cost control and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary Sales/Estimator for targeted customers and projects.
• Perform estimating, value engineering and selling of design/build projects.
• Develop and implement sales strategies with the President to meet goals.
• Manage project lifecycle from initial contact to completion and warranty.
• Ensure timely billing, proper change orders, and final project closeout.
• Lead subcontractor and vendor contracts, submittals, and cost control.
