The role requires 5+ years of structural steel estimating experience, 2+ years of supervisory work, and proficiency with Tekla, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff. The position is full-time with a path to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in structural steel estimating.
• Experience with Tekla, Bluebeam and On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction costs, materials and labor.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to generate detailed bid reports and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Input costs for proposals and perform detailed estimates from drawings.
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, compliance and QA for all projects.
• Generate reports and presentations on bid progress and budgets.
• Manage change orders and provide design assistance.
• Monitor market trends, material costs and labor rates.
• Use Tekla, Bluebeam and On-Screen Takeoff for construction tasks.
• Supervise and mentor the estimating team.
