Job summary

JP Ironworks, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead fabrication and erection projects across our multi-state service region, with emphasis on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel work.

You will coordinate with detailers, architects, and engineers, conduct field measurements, schedule production, oversee site safety, and manage client relationships across NJ, PA, NY, DE, and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years in miscellaneous metals within project management for a steel fabricator/erector.
• Or a college degree in architecture, construction management, or civil/structural engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with detailers to track drawing progress.
• Request and follow up on information from architects and engineers.
• Conduct field measurements for custom fabrication projects.
• Coordinate with other trades, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Schedule production and delivery of steel, aluminum and stainless steel materials.
• Oversee erection through MarQ Steel Services partnership.
• Resolve on-site issues with a focus on safety.
• Manage pricing and change-order requests and negotiate with GC/CM/Owners.
• Collaborate with accounting on job cost estimates and financial matters.
• Build and maintain client relationships across NJ, PA, NY, DE, MD, and beyond.
• Manage relationships with erection crews and subcontractors.
• Travel to job sites (primarily day trips within service region).
• Other duties as assigned by JP Ironworks management.
