Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Three or more years of accounting, audit, financial reporting, or insurance accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for regulated insurance subsidiaries.
• Prepare statutory schedules, footnote disclosures, and supporting workpapers.
• Post journal entries affecting statutory financial statements and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain documentation for statutory balances and disclosures.
• Assist with reconciling GAAP to statutory results and support regulatory reporting.
