Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking a Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant to assist the Statutory Reporting unit with monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements, including health statement preparation and state regulatory filings as the entities expand.

The role also covers reinsurance accounting initiatives, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. A dynamic team environment and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Reinsurance accounting experience from implementation to reporting.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with complex formulas.
• Hands-on NetSuite (ERP) and Workiva (Wdesk) experience.
• Proven track record in a changing, complex financial reporting environment.
• Self-motivated team player with initiative and customer service focus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Able to adhere to policies and procedures.
• Able to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory financial statements for NAIC and state authorities.
• Prepare supplemental filings accompanying statements.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
• Test and assist in NetSuite and other ad hoc reports for statutory statements.
• Filing statements with NAIC and states within deadlines.
• Lead/ad hoc projects such as reinsurance accounting.
• Overtime during peak reporting periods.
• Review statutory financial statements and filings as needed.
