Job summary

Stewart Title is seeking an experienced statutory reporting professional to join its Corporate Reporting team in Houston. This role is responsible for preparing quarterly and annual statutory financial statements and related regulatory filings for the Company's title insurance subsidiaries in accordance with Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), NAIC guidance, and applicable state insurance regulations.

The position will work closely with actuaries, auditors, and finance leadership.

Qualifications

• CPA is required or highly preferred.
• 5+ years of insurance statutory reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for Stewart's regulated title insurance companies.
• Ensure compliance with SAP, NAIC reporting, and state regulations.
• Prepare statutory schedules, exhibits, disclosures, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate statutory reporting deadlines and audits/examinations.
• Collaborate with external actuaries and internal finance leadership.
