Job summary

Stewart Title seeks an experienced statutory reporting senior to join its Corporate Reporting team in Houston. You will prepare quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for title insurance subsidiaries in SAP regulatory contexts, while coordinating audits and regulatory filings.

The role requires a CPA with 5+ years in insurance statutory reporting, strong Excel, and the ability to interpret NAIC guidance and communicate complex analyses to leadership.

Qualifications

• CPA with 5+ years of insurance statutory reporting experience.
• Experience preparing quarterly and annual statutory financial statements.
• Strong understanding of SAP, NAIC reporting requirements, and state regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for Stewart's title insurance subsidiaries.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and state insurance examinations.
• Prepare statutory schedules, reconciliations, and footnote disclosures.
• Research regulatory guidance and prepare memoranda for leadership.
• Support SOX compliance and drive process improvements in statutory reporting.
