Job summary

AEP Service Corporation in Lima, OH seeks a Station Crew Supervisor to lead and coordinate electrical crews in construction, maintenance, and operations, including responding to station trouble calls and outages. You will plan work, ensure safety, and supervise crew performance.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 6+ years of station experience (4+ years acceptable), HV equipment knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical/maintenance.
• Minimum of 6 years of station experience; 4 years considered.
• Ability to interpret prints and drawings; knowledge of HV equipment.
• Valid state driver’s license; comply with vehicle operation rules.
• Familiar with safety rules and the Company Safety Manual, including resuscitation training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activity of assigned crew in construction, maintenance, operation and outage response.
• Plan and organize daily work; ensure safe use of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate work with other crews; respond to emergencies and outages.
• Procure materials, tools and equipment; maintain records and reports.
• Attend meetings and maintain contacts between departments.
