Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in transmission line construction or maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities preferred.
• Valid CDL and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line crews in construction, maintenance and operation of transmission lines.
• Ensure proper and safe use of tools/equipment and safety of personnel.
• Procure materials, tools and equipment as required.
• Comply with company policies and standards for transmission line work.
• Maintain good relations with employees and public around facilities.
• Attend supervisory, site visit, and work scheduling meetings.
• Maintain communications between functions and leadership.
• Perform duties of Transmission Line Mechanic-A as required.
• Provide recommendations for employment actions based on performance.
