Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance technology or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Must maintain a valid state driver's license and meet vehicle operation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and responsibly direct the activity of assigned crew in the construction, maintenance and operation and/or responding to station trouble calls and restoration of; station equipment and structures using approved methods and procedures.
• Assure the proper and safe use of tools and equipment, and the safety, welfare and training of personnel assigned.
• Implement short range work plans and organize daily work activities of assigned crew.
• Coordinate work with other crews working on the same job site or project.
• Respond to emergency situations and outages as directed.
• Independently respond to distribution outages when required.
• Procure materials, tools and equipment as required.
• Comply with practices, policies and standards of the Company that apply to transmission station work.
• Maintain good interpersonal working relationships with employees, vendors, contractors and the public.
• Understand and apply the provisions of the Management Information and Policy Manual, labor contracts, employee handbook and applicable employee handbook supplements.
• Attend supervisory, site visit, and work scheduling meetings as required.
• Maintain contacts between departments/functions and other respective groups of Transmission and the Company.
• Keep immediate supervisor advised on activities and create and maintain records and reports as required.
• Perform the duties of a Station Electrician and/or Station Servicer as required.
