Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Staff Security Engineer, Security Operations, to lead AI-driven security initiatives across offensive and defensive domains. You will architect intelligent defenses, mentor engineers, and shape the security roadmap for a high-velocity financial platform.

Based in the US with in-person work required at least 3 days per week across Menlo Park, NYC, or Bellevue, you will own end-to-end security operations, threat intelligence, and AI-enabled defense strategies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of security engineering experience across offensive and defensive security.
• Demonstrated impact by innovating with AI in Security Operations.
• Senior Staff/Principal level leadership with company-wide influence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Security Operations AI Tech Lead for offensive and defensive functions.
• Lead offensive security research to identify and close critical attack surfaces.
• Architect and build defensive capabilities that engage and track threat actors.
• Drive AI-forward security strategy and build synthetic workforce capabilities.
• Identify threat actor motivations and translate intelligence into proactive defenses.
• Set technical standards and mentor security engineers in Security Operations.
