Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ aerospace/ civil engineering or related field with 12–15 years of related experience, or Master’s with 8–12 years, or PhD with 5–8 years.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, machine design, and product development methodologies.
• Experience designing components, assemblies, structures, mechanisms, and manufacturing solutions.
• Strong understanding of engineering analyses including structural, thermal, tolerance, and system integration.
• Ability to mentor engineers and guide technical decisions across projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical engineering principles to develop systems, structures, mechanisms, and assemblies for multiple products.
• Lead complex analyses, structural evaluations, thermal assessments, and design trade studies.
• Oversee verification, qualification, validation, and testing activities.
• Guide root-cause investigations and engineering changes to improve designs.
• Provide technical guidance through design reviews and engineering investigations.
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement in practices across programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve product performance and manufacturability.
