Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with 12–15 years of related experience, or Master's with 8–12 years, or PhD with 5–8 years.
• Substantial knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, machine design, structural analysis, mechanical systems, and product development methodologies.
• Extensive experience designing mechanical components, assemblies, structures, mechanisms, and manufacturing solutions across multiple programs.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering analysis, structural, thermal, tolerance, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and system integration.
• Develops innovative solutions for highly complex mechanical challenges and advances technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead analyses, structural evaluations, and thermal assessments across multiple programs.
• Guide root cause investigations, engineering changes, and design improvements.
• Mentor engineers and promote consistent mechanical engineering practices.
• Provide technical guidance through design reviews, supplier evaluations, and complex problem resolution.
• Lead mechanical verification and testing activities to support manufacturing objectives.
