Akuity is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the development of its SaaS platform and empower a global developer community. You will work with engineers, designers, and product partners to solve complex problems, drive architectural decisions, and mentor the team.

This role focuses on Go server-side work, scalable infrastructure, and delivering an outstanding developer experience. Join a fully remote team across US time zones, contribute to architectural direction, and help scale a modern GitOps

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of development experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing scalable web applications using Go.
• Experience building Kubernetes controllers or operators at scale in AWS, GCP, Azure, or On-prem.
• Passion for complex SaaS/IaaS/PaaS products and developer tools.
• Deep knowledge of systems design, API design, and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated leadership in architecture and direction of complex distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
• Desire to design a great end-to-end developer experience with Akuity’s products.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset to influence technical decisions.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, test, and improve Akuity’s SaaS platform and services.
• Develop in Go on the server-side.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver scalable features.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across high-impact projects.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across the org.
• Ensure the platform remains scalable and developer-friendly as it grows.
