Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to own the release pipeline from commit to production, emphasizing CI/CD and IaC with Terraform as the standard. You will shape cloud-agnostic architecture and drive cross‑team adoption across AWS and future Azure/GCP expansions.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Development, QA, Security and IT to keep releases fast, secure, and resilient, while expanding into new regions and cloud providers. This role offers hybrid remote work in the USA.

Qualifications

10+ years cloud DevOps with emphasis on release engineering, deployment automation and IaC.
Multi‑cloud production experience — AWS plus Azure and/or GCP.
4+ years hands‑on Terraform with modules, remote state, workspaces and safe plan/apply.
Deep CD experience with automated rollback and multi‑service deployments.

Responsibilities

Own CD/Release Pipeline design and improvement across regions and services.
Lead Terraform/IaC strategy, module design, remote state, and governance.
Establish policy-as-code and security/cost guardrails within pipelines.
Migrate infrastructure to new Terraform architecture across teams; develop templates and training.
Provide monitoring, incident response, and production support for deployments and infra.
