Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to own the path from commit to production, building scalable release pipelines and modular IaC foundations. You will architect Terraform code, drive governance, and mentor teams across Development, QA, Security and IT to accelerate safe software delivery.

You will lead cross-cloud infrastructure work (AWS first, with Azure/GCP as we expand), specifying standards, modules, and guardrails to keep deployments fast, secure, and auditable while enabling

Qualifications

• 10+ years cloud DevOps experience with emphasis on release engineering and IaC.
• Multi-cloud production experience: AWS primarily with Azure/GCP exposure.
• 4+ years hands-on Terraform with modules, remote state, workspaces, and safe plan/apply.
• Deep CD experience with progressive rollout and automated rollback.
• Enterprise-scale Terraform architecture with multi-team access control and governance.
• Experience with Terraform ecosystem tooling and driving org-wide IaC adoption.
• Strong Agile/DevOps tooling: Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Own the CD/Release Pipeline end-to-end across services and regions.
• Lead Terraform/IaC strategy, architecture, and governance reinforcement.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated security/cost checks in pipelines.
• Drive organization-wide adoption of the new Terraform architecture.
• Design secure, compliant infra delivery across AWS and future Azure/GCP regions.
• Mentor engineers on Terraform, IaC, and deployment practices.
• Coach teams on release engineering, deployment safety, and code quality.
• Perform incident response and remediation for deployments and infra.
