ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Data Platform team in a flexible hybrid role with in-office days. You will design, build, and operate cloud-native platform components, mentoring engineers and collaborating with senior staff to align with architecture standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on development in Go, Kubernetes, and IaC, plus scale, reliability, and observability across services. Location includes San Diego office with other US offices.

Competenze

• Experience integrating AI into engineering workflows and tooling.
• 12+ years with a Bachelor's, 8+ with a Master's, or 5+ with a PhD, or equivalent.
• 5+ years building and operating workloads on Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP core compute, networking, and IAM primitives.
• Strong Go programming skills and systems programming background.
• Solid knowledge of containers, CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and operate components and services within the cloud-native platform.
• Lead well-scoped projects within the team and deliver solid technical designs.
• Collaborate with senior and principal engineers to align with architecture and standards.
• Contribute to reliability, scalability, and operability including tests and runbooks.

• Mentor junior engineers through code review and design feedback.
