ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Data Platform team in a flexible hybrid role. You will design, build, and operate cloud-native platform services, delivering features from design to production while aligning with the platform's standards and architecture.

You will spend most of your time hands-on with Kubernetes, Go, and CI/CD, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with senior staff to ensure reliability and scalability across services.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver complex features as a key contributor.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate components and services within the cloud-native platform.
• Lead projects within the team from concept to production.

• Improve reliability, scalability, and operability; write tests and runbooks.
• Spend most time hands-on building operators, controllers, and platform services.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pairing.
