Chaparral Motorsports seeks a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for a high-volume retail operation across multiple channels. You will oversee AP/AR clerks, perform the month-end close, and ensure accurate reconciliations and reporting.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP experience (Acumatica or similar) and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment at our San Bernardino, CA headquarters.

Qualificações

• 5+ years full-cycle accounting (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations).
• Experience with mid-market ERP and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analytics ability.
• Multi-state tax or regulatory fee filing experience.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.

Responsabilidades

• Directly supervise AP/AR clerks; assign daily tasks and review output.
• Post and reconcile daily banking, deposits, and payments.
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reporting.
• Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns and related filings.
• Maintain fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
