Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is looking for a Staff Accountant to prepare financial statements for multiple entities and ensure accuracy of disclosures and compliance with state and federal requirements. You will support monthly close, research discrepancies, and assist in reporting and analysis.

The role requires 3+ years of financial accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and advanced Excel skills. ERP experience and strong communication are also essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business field is required.
• 3+ years of financial accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly account reconciliations accurately and timely.
• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries; research discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end close and production of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Analyze expenses and revenue variances to budget; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Document processes and implement efficiencies to improve accuracy.
• Provide guidance to Accounting Specialists and other departments; produce ad hoc reports as needed.
