Job summary

Powermaxx Motorsports Group is seeking an Accountant Generalist to support daily accounting for four entities in the powersports sector. You will manage QuickBooks Online, AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and chart-of-accounts maintenance.

This hands-on role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work across multiple files and with vendors, customers, and outside advisors as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–3 years accounting/bookkeeping or GL experience in automotive, powersports, or related industries.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online for transaction entry, bank feeds, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience supporting multiple entities, locations, or files is a plus.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and coordinating with a third-party payroll provider.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for schedules and analysis.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal control practices.
• Willingness to participate in future growth and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Daily transaction processing and coding in QBO for four entities.
• Prepare customer invoices and supporting documentation; ensure accurate coding.
• Maintain electronic documentation for invoices and approvals.
• Review transactions for correct entity, account, and tax treatment before posting.
• Monitor vendor/customer balances; assist with inquiries and corrections.
• Record cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliations for each entity.
• Reconcile bank, credit-card, and other cash accounts; resolve unreconciled items.
• Support payroll administration and payroll-provider coordination.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany, accruals, and depreciation.
• Assist with month-end close and standard QBO reports.
