Job summary

Tri Tool Technologies in Rancho Cordova, CA, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage the general ledger, cost and tax accounting, and regulatory reporting in support of close cycles. You will prepare financial statements, assist with audits, and maintain GAAP compliance while collaborating with AP/AR teams and internal customers.

Bachelor’s in accounting or finance; CPA not required; 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; strong Excel/Office skills and ability to present complex

Qualifications

• Four or more years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance reporting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (U.S. GAAP).
• Ability to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting configurations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintains and balances general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of internal financial reports, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc.
• Assists in preparing year-end review and audit schedules.
• Prepares and assists with weekly employee expense reports and credit card costing.
• Performs annual fixed asset audit for Rancho Cordova location.
• Supports Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Prepares and files property tax returns.
• Prepares and files U.S. Census Bureau surveys.
• Prepare per diem for employees.
• Performs duties and special projects as assigned.
