Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites, located in Morgan Hill, CA, is seeking a Staff Accountant to ensure accuracy of ledgers related to leases, CIP, fixed assets and tax accounts. You will support audits and coordinate tax requests for multiple entities, using Cognos reporting for consolidated statements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years GL experience, and strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or previous experience in audit or tax area is a plus.
• Versatile accounting skillsets with minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related role.
• Strong knowledge of USGAAP or IFRS.
• Proficient in MS Excel; prior experience in Sage, Cognos and Microsoft Dynamic D365 is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and very accurate at work.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage CIP and fixed asset accounts via tracking and reconciliations
• Prepare lease entries for multiple entities
• Assist external audits with necessary documentation and explanations
• Coordinate tax related requests and tax filings (sales, property)
• Assist month-end and year-end closing and Cognos reporting for multiple entities
