Job summary

PDI Technologies seeks a Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering to lead a ~20-person SRE team responsible for Paylo and related platforms. You will own reliability strategy, multi-cloud infra, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines, while coaching managers and remaining technically engaged.

You will shape a blameless incident culture, drive SLOs, and partner with security/compliance to meet PCI DSS requirements. This is a global, hands-on leadership role with a strong emphasis on collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infra, with 4+ years in people leadership.
• Experience managing managers with ~20 total reports at scale.
• Strong hands-on AWS and Azure multi-cloud infra experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Helm operations and maintenance.
• Extensive experience with Argo CD/Argo Workflows for GitOps.
• Proficient in Terraform/OpenTofu and state management.
• CI/CD expertise with Jenkins and automation.
• Demonstrated Datadog observability, dashboards, and APM/tracing.
• Proven incident management, on-call, and postmortem leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership presence.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop 3 SRE Managers/Leads and ~20 engineers.
• Set vision and cadence for reliability roadmap aligned to product priorities.
• Hire, coach, and create clear career paths and succession plans.
• Foster blameless culture around incidents and on-call.
• Partner with engineering directors, PMs, and stakeholders on reliability investments.
• Remain hands-on in architecture reviews and complex production issues.
• Define standards for multi-cloud infra and Kubernetes at scale.
• Own GitOps and CD strategy with Argo CD/Argo Workflows.
• Own IaC strategy with Terraform/OpenTofu, including state and drift.
• Own CI/CD architecture on Jenkins and progressive delivery.
• Monitor tool adoption and evolve infra tooling as platforms grow.
• Own observability strategy with Datadog, dashboards, and alerting.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and reliability KPIs across teams.
• Lead incident management end-to-end with postmortems and remediation.
• Drive cost, capacity, and KPI reporting to leadership.
• Ensure resilience, DR, and capacity planning for payment-related systems.
• Collaborate with Security/Compliance for PCI DSS readiness.
