Job summary

Okta is seeking a Sr. Manager for the Infrastructure Platform and Shared Services to lead edge networking, K8s platform, observability, and automation tooling. You will drive cross-functional programs and mentor a team of engineers and managers across SRE and infrastructure domains.

The role focuses on scalable cloud infrastructure, self-service capabilities, and cost-effective operations, with a strong emphasis on SDLC improvements and strategic delivery in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience leading and managing teams
• 3+ years of experience running large-scale infrastructure platforms for SaaS/Cloud
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures and edge infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, APM) and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the Infra platform and shared services org and various initiatives across SRE & Infrastructure
• Build a world-class observability platform with self-service capabilities
• Accelerate SRE and product engineering velocity with robust platforms and tooling
• Own design and operation of scalable, self-service Cloud infrastructure platforms
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team across SRE and infra domains
• Perform engineering design evaluations within budget and scheduling constraints
• Improve SDLC processes for Cloud infrastructure as code and deployment management
• Prioritize resource allocation to meet service and business needs
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and evolving tech trends
