Job summary

Okta seeks a Sr. Manager of Infrastructure Platform and Shared Services to lead Edge networking, K8s platform, observability, automation tooling, and SRE productivity.

You will mentor engineers, guide large-scale programs, and shape cloud infrastructure delivery with a focus on self-service, reliability, and cost efficiency. Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical leadership & people management.
• 3+ years of experience running large-scale infrastructure platforms for a SaaS/Cloud service in public Cloud (AWS preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale programs.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, Edge infra (WAF, ALB, NLB, Apache, Nginx).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Infra platform and shared services org and initiatives across SRE & Infrastructure.
• Build observability platform and monitoring with self-service capabilities.
• Increase velocity of SRE and product engineering through robust platforms and tooling.
• Own design and operation of scalable, self-service Cloud infra platforms.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team across SRE and infra domains.
• Improve SDLC processes for Cloud infrastructure as code and release management.
