Job summary

Okta is seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to lead the SRE Leadership Team, focusing on scalability, resilience, and empowering engineers to grow as technical leaders. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, own reliability roadmaps, and champion best practices across product engineering and operations.

You will guide a remote-first, globally distributed team, with emphasis on observability, incident response, and ensuring the Auth0 platform remains trusted for millions of users

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on team leadership in SRE or software engineering.
• Deep cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure) and Terraform.
• Strong programming in Go or Python and production tooling experience.
• Data-driven, blameless approach with strong communication skills.
• Experience leading globally distributed, remote-first teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SRE team's technical direction and roadmaps.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and incident remediation.
• Build and improve infrastructure resilience with monitoring and automation.
• Establish reliability best practices and observability culture.
• Mentor senior engineers and represent reliability in architectural reviews.
• Collaborate across product, platform, and operations teams.
