Job summary

F5 seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on FedRAMP compliance, hybrid cloud design, and production reliability. You will drive L3 on-call escalation, architecture governance, and secure edge-to-cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and on‑premises environments.

Lead audit readiness and logging pipelines, collaborate with security, networking, and development teams, and implement GitOps via Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Architecture role.
• Proven track record handling high-pressure L3 production escalations.
• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, or SOC 2 Type II audits.
• Strong ability to design secure, hybrid cloud architectures and multi-tenant clusters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final escalation tier for critical production incidents and drive rapid containment within SLAs.
• Lead FedRAMP audits, gather evidence, demonstrate compliance, and maintain logs pipelines.
• Perform deep log troubleshooting with Elasticsearch & Kibana across AWS and edge environments.
• Design secure, resilient architectures spanning AWS GovCloud and on-prem edge servers.
• Create and manage Terraform code and GitLab/ArgoCD-based deployment pipelines for GitOps.
• Develop automation in Go or Python to improve compliance reporting and runbooks.
