Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a proactive Site Reliability Engineer II to join the 24/7 Operations team in a hybrid capacity in California.

The role focuses on monitoring, incident response, and governance across on-prem RHEL, AWS GovCloud, and EKS environments under FedRAMP controls. You will implement automated deployments with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Argo Workflows, perform root-cause analysis, and uphold security posture through rigorous RBAC and log analysis.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on SRE/DevOps experience in hybrid infrastructure.
• US Citizenship required due to FedRAMP/AWS GovCloud security standards.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotation including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 monitoring and incident triage for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Maintain RHEL server operations and perform security hardening per FedRAMP.
• Manage GitOps pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD and Argo Workflows.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes (EKS), AWS services and network issues.
• Document runbooks, post-incident reviews, and RCAs.
