Job summary

F5 in Reston, VA seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on security and FedRAMP‑compliant cloud platforms. You will drive reliability across AWS GovCloud and on‑prem edge deployments with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.

You will lead L3 incident response, implement NIST SP 800‑53 controls, and coordinate FedRAMP audits with 3PAOs, building secure, auditable logging pipelines into Elasticsearch and SIEMs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating FedRAMP-compliant cloud platforms.
• Strong incident response and L3 escalation leadership under SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Act as final L3 escalation for critical incidents and outages.
• Lead incident response bridges across multiple teams to contain and resolve issues.
• Define runbooks and ensure auditability for complex resolutions.
