Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to own the availability of critical services in the internal developer platform.

You will drive automation, reliability, and observability across distributed teams, tackling capacity planning and production readiness with an emphasis on AI-assisted workflows. The role requires 10+ years of SRE experience, CJIS clearance eligibility, deep cloud and on-prem expertise, and a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Eligible for CJIS clearance (US citizenship or green card).
• 10+ years in large-scale production SRE or infrastructure environments.
• 3+ years integrating AI-assisted workflows to boost efficiency.
• BS in CS or equivalent technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, IaC provisioning and monitoring stacks.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and data infrastructure at scale.
• Strong scripting in Python/Go/Bash/PowerShell.
• Familiar with storage technologies and big data systems.
• Security-first mindset and ability to make timely decisions.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own availability and health of key services in CICD environment.
• Build software to manage platform infrastructure and automate deployments.
• On-call responsibility and blameless postmortems for root cause.
• Analyze metrics to support performance tuning and RCA.
• Lead design reviews, readiness reviews, and capacity planning.
• Evaluate AI-assisted workflows and integrate them into processes.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews.
• Explore emerging technologies to support roadmap goals.
• Create automated reporting on service health and compliance.
• Collaborate with peers to drive cross-team reliability improvements.
