Garner Health is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and resilience of our cloud infrastructure powering products and AI/ML workloads. This remote role sits on the Platform Engineering team, defining SLOs and driving automation to scale engineering velocity with Abbott-like rigor.

You will lead incident response, build observability, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant, and cost-efficient cloud operations.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years operating production cloud infrastructure in SRE/DevOps or platform engineering roles.

• Strong Kubernetes and Terraform in cloud environments, with AWS preferred.

• Track record defining SLOs, building observability, and leading incident response.

• Software engineering in Python or Go for infrastructure automation.
• 5
• Experience optimizing cloud costs and performance across compute, storage, and networking.

• Experience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive workloads is a plus.

• Keep AWS and Kubernetes environments reliable for core services and AI/ML workloads, setting and tracking SLOs.

• Take part in on-call coverage, investigate incidents to root causes, and carry corrective work through completion.

• Build monitoring and alerting that surfaces problems early, then maintain the systems behind that visibility.

• Turn scaling needs into Terraform infrastructure and optimize cloud performance and spending across the stack.

• Use AI and automation to replace repetitive operations with monitored workflows and strengthen deployment standards.
