Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our global platform, driving modernization, resilience, and scalable cloud delivery across Reference Lab operations.

You will own CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, security, and release engineering in a highly automated environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging AI tools to improve system quality and incident response.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or similar roles.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and system reliability.
• Strong experience with AWS Serverless architectures, Terraform, CloudFormation, and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipeline design, governance, and standards.
• Modernize and automate deployment pipelines for serverless services (Kotlin-based) on AWS.
• Standardize infrastructure across services and reduce manual deployment via automation.
• Build and maintain end-to-end observability (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting).
• Lead incident response and postmortems to prevent recurrence.
• Own release processes, deployment gates, and cross-repo dependencies.
• Embed secure development practices into pipelines.
