Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering Team, working with a product team to modernize infrastructure and scale our global platform. This remote US role focuses on reliability, security, and performance using AI tools to accelerate delivery.

You will own the design of CI/CD architecture, automate deployments via GitHub Actions for AWS Lambda services, and drive cloud infrastructure modernization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong experience with AWS Serverless architectures, Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Proven ability to design and optimize deployment pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipeline architecture, governance and standards.
• Modernize and automate deployment pipelines for Kotlin-based AWS Lambda services using GitHub Actions.
• Standardize infrastructure and deployment processes across services.
• Build and maintain end-to-end observability (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting).
• Lead incident response in on-call rotation and drive postmortems.
