Applaudo Studios is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability across cloud, edge, networking, and device management for our restaurant technology stack. You will work from a hybrid office in Louisville with on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays, contributing to strategy, architecture, and hands-on implementation.

You will lead incident response, define SLOs/SLIs, and drive automation, tooling, and internal integrations to reduce MTTR while upholding security and governance.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in IT infrastructure, with 3+ years in SRE, cloud architecture, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, IAM, RDS, S3).
• Working experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, highly available cloud architectures on AWS.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration (EKS, AKS).
• Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience defining and operating against SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Experience with enterprise networking (switch config, VLANs) and MDM familiarity.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Bash, Go, or equivalent.
• Security practices: IAM, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management.
• Incident response leadership and blameless post-incident reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own SLOs/SLIs for restaurant technology systems.
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, observability with meaningful signals.
• Lead incident response for restaurant tech systems, including on-call.
• Drive blameless post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
• Reduce MTTR via tooling, runbooks, automation.
• Identify reliability risks and report system health to leadership.
• Design scalable, secure AWS-based cloud architectures; knowledge of Azure.
• Architect and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Develop IaC with Terraform and maintain architecture across cloud/edge.
